The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.
— Marcel Proustce

The world is indeed very small these days. It’s like seeing yellow cars on the road, each time you think of buying a yellow car. If I say to my travel companion, my husband, “let’s go to Egypt”, ten of my friends would have posted about their trip to Egypt on Facebook the same week. By the way, I have never been to Egypt - I do want to go- but the cards don’t align. So, why even bother reading my blog or repository of my escapades? Because I do believe that each landscape when viewed with new eyes presents itself differently. It is not the perspective of the photographic tool. Instead it is the presenters mind state in the moment and what they are drawn to. This is my humble attempt in sharing what I was drawn to in the moment. I started this blog in early 2010. In the 13 years since I have picked on it many times and closed it off many times. So much so that the early posts have lost the images in the blog. As time permits, I intend to populate them but in the meantime, I hope you enjoy what is presented in the recent years.

Who am I? I am a believer that all beings, all places and all things are beautiful and must be celebrated in their grand glory. Photographing the little corners is what this blog is all about. Photographing people is my other passion and profession and you can reach me for Branding and portrait work at www.kapupatelphotography.com
