Beachiness in India

Long before it was fashionable to visit beach resorts amongst Indians, Goa held a special appeal to those wanted to visit churches…4 decades ago…that was the last time I visited Goa.  Fast forward to 2013 and this visit to Goa held nothing but a beach appeal.  India changes so rapidly these days that one is unable to recognize a place in 4 months let alone 4 decades.  Since my last visit to Goa, I had only visited it in the pages of Shantaram.  Since it was a purely chilling visit limited to a two kilometer length of a beach in South Goa, I have no specific commentary to add except to say that I had the delusion of being in Russia except it was a lot warmer.  The images speak for themselves.  Enjoy.
